This place is on my list of no returns. The room seemed clean enough, however the bed linens are so old they are yellow in color, there is not a hook on the wall or a hanger in the closet to hang anything on, when changing in the bathroom there is no where to put or hang anything except the toilet. So many small things that could make this place more user friendly. They advertise free wifi, but unless you are in there office you can't connect. No coffee pots in the room. We were there off season, but when they are open for business you should be able to get a bucket of ice. My bed, although only a double bed, was ok but my moms was almost un-sleepable comfort wise. It's too bad because their grounds are beautiful.
The rooms were every cute, and comfy. The view of the ocean was breath taking. That said we got charged $10 for the beach front view, and a hotel truck was in front of our room blocking the view. I went back into the office to see if we could change rooms, and the employee peaced out 2 minutes after we checked in, and 4 hours before she was supposed to.

The staff is wonderful! They are starting remodeling next year and I'm excited to see the rooms when we come back.
The poolside room I had was cute. Looked like it had been redone somewhat recently, however, there were yellow stains on my bed sheets and orange stains on my bath towels. I realize that hotel up keep probably gets expensive but come on...the towels/sheets weren't exactly high end--they should have been replaced and not used. Also, I paid $100 for our room. It was poolside and had 2 full size beds. I guess I kinda thought for that much it would also have a mini fridge and a microwave but it didn't. Pool and view of Lake Huron were very nice though.
So relaxing!

Grounds were nice and had a beautiful view. Our room was disgusting. Stains on both bed sheets and comforters. Towels were stained as well so thank goodness we brought our own. The shower barely got warm and it didn't drain well at all. Wifi doesn't work in the room. There were dead bugs all over and live spiders in the corners. No coffee makers or microwaves in the rooms. There were rips in the screen so we couldn't open the windows or more bugs would get in. I have never been so disappointed in a room! I couldn't wait to get home!!! This place definitely is not worth the money!
